Maintenance Request Disclaimer

By submitting this maintenance request form, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

Tenants are responsible for carrying out basic troubleshooting and reasonable checks prior to submitting a maintenance request. This includes, but is not limited to, checking fuse boxes, resetting tripped switches, checking appliance settings, ensuring water valves are open, replacing light bulbs, and ensuring drains are not blocked due to misuse.

Where a contractor attends the property and the issue is found to be caused by tenant misuse or negligence, failure to carry out basic troubleshooting, damage caused by the tenant or their guest, blocked drains due to food, grease, wipes, hair, or similar, or failure to ventilate the property resulting in condensation or mould,  the cost of the contractor call-out, repair, and any associated charges may be recharged to the tenant in accordance with the tenancy agreement.

Tenants must provide reasonable access to the property for inspection or repair works. Failure to provide access to a confirmed appointment may result in aborted contractor visit fees which may be charged to the tenant.

For emergency situations including major water leaks, gas leaks, electrical hazards, or immediate risk to safety or property, tenants must contact the building concierge, managing agent, or emergency services immediately. This online form should not be relied upon for emergency response.

Goldstone Letting & Management shall not be liable for delays caused by landlord approval requirements, parts availability, contractor scheduling, building management restrictions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

By submitting this maintenance request form, you consent to Goldstone Letting & Management sharing the information provided with the landlord, building management, contractors, or relevant third parties where necessary to investigate or resolve the issue. All personal data submitted will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR regulations.
